2008 Punt Road Shiraz
(Updated: April 27, 2011)
Wine Rating

92
The wine is deep red in colour, the nose has sweet vanillin oak and ripe plum. The palate displays blackberry and plum fruit. There are firm, but integrated tannins on the mid to back palate that frame the wine well. The finish shows white pepper and rich oak influences.

The wine is aromatic and full bodied and an excellent example of concentrated cool climate Shiraz.
