2006 Seppelt St Peters Shiraz
Wine Rating
95
The nose is saturated with dark fruits and savoury spice that provides a good indication of what is to come on the palate.
There is a large array of berry fruits ranging from blackberry to richer plum and cherry notes. Throughout the wine there are fine mouth filling tannins that contrast the concentrated fruit.
The finish is long, firm and focused with blackberry, five spice and a hint of licorice. This wine continues a long tradition of quality and continues to be a benchmark for the region.
