Review Detail

Deep red in colour, the nose is closed and shows hints of dark cherry and earth.

The somewhat dull palate has blackberry fruit and savoury plum influences, but fails to build in concentration, complexity or engage any subtle oak influences. The finish has slightly astringent tannins but good length.

The wine overall lacks complexity and finesse and needs time to develop.
