Review Detail

2006 Grampians Estate Black Sunday Reserve Shiraz
Wine Rating

95
Deep red in colour, the nose shows developed dark fruits, a subtle hint of eucalypt and earth.

The palate is elegant and well proportioned with plum, spice and a backbone of wonderfully fine tannins.

The finish shows superb persistence and focus with plum and cedar flavours continuing long after the glass is empty.
