Shiraz June 07, 2011
2008 Trevor Jones Dry Grown Shiraz
Wine Rating

94
The wine is a deep red in the glass and the use of high quality American oak is evident from the outset with the spicy vanillin oak combining effortlessly with aromatic plum.

The wine is plush in terms of the opulent plum and cherry fruit, but has an overarching elegance due to the balanced acidity and well proportioned tannins that provide focus and direction on the mid to back palate.

The finish has excellent length, showing white pepper and dark fruits.
