2008 Booths Taminick Cellars 1919 Shiraz
Wine Rating
90
A medium to light red in the glass, the wine is fresh, vibrant and appealing on the nose with aromatic red berry fruit.
The palate continues the clear varietal expression shown by the nose with unadulterated plum and cherry fruit combining with soft fine tannins, subtle vanillin oak, and a touch of spice. The wines only detractor is the length which could be longer, the wine is certainly a bargain for the price.
