2008 Colonial Estate Mungo Park Shiraz
Wine Rating
96
Blackberry, earth , and a touch of dark cheery on the nose, Focused
palate of blackberry, plum and a dash of white pepper. The
exceptional quality French oak provides a vanillin lift that helps to
counter the persistent, but balanced tannins. The wine has tremendous
length, with weight of fruit and tannin structure an indicator of a
long future ahead.
