Review Detail
2008 Dog Ridge Shirtfront Shiraz
Wine Rating
91
A deep red hue in the glass the nose opens with savoury blackberry fruit and pencil shaving aromas.
The palate is bright and vibrant with blackberry and plum fruit combining with toasty oak. As the wine moves towards the back palate there is lifted raspberry, a touch of spice and fine ripe tannins. The finish shows good length and a concentration of dark berry fruit.
