Review Detail
2002 Greenock Creek Alices Shiraz
Wine Rating
95
Deep red to black in colour, the nose shows Christmas cake , chocolate and dense plum without the slightest hint of confection.
The wine is wonderfully rich with plum and dark chocolate that wash over the palate in concentrated waves, the tannins are velvety , with the oak adding a supple vanillin character.
The wine has superb length that shows all the depth and complexity shown on the palate.
