Review Detail
1991 Bowen Estate Shiraz
Wine Rating
93
A full red in colour that is starting to brown towards the rim, the nose shows leathery plum, coffee and understated olive.
The wine is fully mature having aged gracefully and is still holding good depth and concentration. Plum fruit has mellowed and been given a leathery / forrest floor aspect, the tannins are soft and the length is exceptional.
