The 08 Vintage Perle is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier with some subtle red berry characters evident due to the higher proportion of Pinot Noir.
It shows a golden yellow in colour, with the bead having good if not slightly large bubbles. The nose is full and rich with nougat and stone fruits.
The palate is sweet fruited with white peach, wild strawberry and citrus notes, the mouth feel is rounded with a powdery citrus acidity and an oxidative orange peel character to finish.
