The wine was made in the traditional méthode champenoise style and is a good example of sparkling Chenin Blanc, a wine and style you don’t often come across in Australia.
The nose has top notes of lemon and comquat along with some faint bready notes. Taut lines of citrus give the background for richer apple and marmalade to combine before a subtle build of flint and brioche like richness to finish. Has enjoyed a few years in bottle and will likely enjoy a few more.
