Review Detail

2004 Yering Station Late Disgorged Cuvee
Wine Rating

94
A slightly yellow tinge to the glass, the nose has some nice yeasty characters that are tapered by green apple and orange blossom aromas.

The palate is refreshing and laden with racy acidity and citrus fruit, it does however gain depth on the mid to back palate with some broader stonefruit characters, the finish is long and again dominated by citrus.

The 2004 Cuvee has spent 8 years on lees, yet the wine still has a youthfulness and vibrancy that will reward additional time in the cellar.
