Review Detail
2010 Heemskerk Abel's Tempest Pinot Noir Chardonnay
Wine Rating
89
This entry level sparkling from Heemskerk is a well made structural wine with a focus on freshness and just enough richer stone fruits and biscuit characters to round out the wine.
In terms of colour it is a light yellow, the nose is citrus dominant with a dash of stone fruits, on the palate nectarine inspired characters provide a full mouth feel with well balanced acid. The wine finishes with good length that lacks the complexity of it's more illustrious stablemate, the Heemskerk.
