2011 Yellowglen Vintage Pinot Noir Chardonnay Brut
Wine Rating

89
The 2011 Yellowglen Vintage Pinot Noir Chardonnay is made using the méthode champenoise technique (bottle fermentation), and at $12 is a very good wine for the price.

The wine shows a light yellow in the glass with a nose of honeyed stone fruits and richer brioche in the background.

The palate has a steely mineral and sherbert acidity against vibrant lemon pith and nectarine fruit, the wine has good length and focused acidity to finish that will allow some further development over the shorter term.
