Review Detail
2001 Yarrabank Late Disgorged
Wine Rating
93
This wine was matured on lees for 7 years prior to disgorgement, creating a wine of great complexity, whilst maintaining mineral acidity at its core.
A lightly golden yellow in the glass, with a nose of marzipan, orange peel and toffee apple.
A broad spectrum of oxidative stone fruits on entry that benefit from the inclusion of creamy and spicy inputs with grapefruit astringency to finish. Very good length.
This wine is at its peak of maturity.
