Review Detail
1998 Clover Hill Vintage Brut
Wine Rating
91
Produced by Taltarni, Clover Hill has been a forebear for sparkling in Tasmania, creating a niche in the upper echelon of producers in the region.
The wine has aged gracefully, tasted just short of its 18th birthday it’s a developed yellow in colour and maintained a fine bead with a leesy / blue cheese nose backed by stewed stone fruits.
The palate has developed richness but just enough acidity to keep things balanced, accentuated peaches and cream are stained by a touch of citrus to finish.
