Better Half are a new producer from the Yarra Valley that have put their focus on the classic Burgundian varieties of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, producing both still wines and a Pinot Noir Chardonnay sparkling wine.
A light yellow in the glass with a lively effervescent bead, the nose is citrus driven and youthful with underlying bready notes. The wine has a plenty of texture with a baseline of lemon zest and grapefruit, the citrus and green apple notes are dominant and will fill out with richer characters given time in the bottle.

I tasted BetterHalf Sparkling wine from Yarra Valley at La Camera restaurant in Southgate last Saturday...& had to immediately have another glass. It looked good in glass nice effervescent bead...which is a pleasant change from lots of other sparkling wines around. Tasted very pleasant...would like to know where to purchase this sparkling wine. Thanks
