2016 Oakridge Meunier Rosé

A pretty colour and beautiful fine bead, a great place to start with this unique and exceptionally made sparkling Pinot Meunier.
The nose meets you with wild strawberry and cream with a faint thread of crushed herbs. The palate enjoys red berry fruits and unmistakable brioche notes; there is finely structured citrus with a touch of brine before orange blossom comes into it’s own on the mid palate. There is an enjoyable dryness to finish when contrasted with the wines more youthful and soft disposition.
There continues to be something in the water at Oakridge.
