Sparkling October 13, 2019
2014 Sidewood Isabella Sparkling Rose
Wine Rating

It can be difficult to find a méthode champenoise at a tick over $32, with this Pinot Noir dominant blend from Sidewood enjoying the complexity that comes from 4 years on lees, whilst maintaining an undeniably youthful disposition.

A golden yellow hue with a nose that focuses on stone fruits that are lifted by lees induced brioche notes. The wine is medium bodied with citrus running through the core and supported by a subtle build of wild strawberry and white peach before a finish that gives oyster shell and understated almond-meal.
