Review Detail
2017 Seville Estate Blanc de Blanc
Wine Rating
96
The wine was aged in barrel for 10 months prior bottling and aged on lees for 30 months prior to disgorgement. There was no dosage.
A light yellow in the glass with a beautifully fine bead. The nose has new season stone fruits with lemon curd and top notes of brioche. There is a saline, oyster shell like backdrop to the wine that is driven by a lithe line of acidity and just enough mealy complexity at this point its development. The finish has piercing nectarine with lemon which is carried by subtle lees influence. A stunning release by any measure.
