Wine Rating

95
The wine has been aged for a minimum of 10 years on lees with time giving layers of texture and complexity to a base wine that came in at only 8-10 Baume that no doubt necessitated the approach. The nose has gentle brioche to lemon and white peach, the palate has great freshness with a backdrop of oyster shell and finely filamented acidity. There is a lovely creaminess and almond meal character to focused stone fruits to finish. The length is excellent. A world class sparkling.
