Review Detail
2015 Levantine Hill Sparkling Rose
Wine Rating
95
A light salmon to burnt orange in the glass. Piercingly pure aromatics of red cherry and wild strawberry are accentuated by by a thread of citrus and a slow build of richer autolysis characters.
The bead is fine, reflecting a number of years on lees with taut red berry fruits framing the wine, acidity takes on a lemon edge before a biscuity lift and lingering red cherry to finish. As a vintage wine this will live for a decade, a pleasure to drink.
