Wine Rating

95
The grapes are sourced from the Bizot Vineyard in the Piccadilly Valley. The base wine was aged in old oak for 8 months and then on lees in bottle for 42 months.

The wine is a light golden yellow with a beautifully fine bead; aromatics are focused on stone fruits with top notes of brioche and fresh cut white flowers.

There is a richness to the palate with white peach expressive, but balanced by finely textured acidity and the understated almond meal like generosity that is just starting to show after extended ageing in bottle. There is enough acidity to give structure now, as well as underwrite future development. The finish has lemon pith and stone fruits that is offset by a gentle creaminess.
