Sparkling November 16, 2021
2015 Levantine Hill Blanc de Blanc
Wine Rating
A wonderful wine, from a great vintage. The base wine was harvested over two picks and enjoyed extending ageing on lees prior to release.

The wine walks the tightrope between a pure, vibrant expression of Chardonnay and the richer, layered brioche characters that can only come with time in bottle.

The aromatics see white peach set amongst oyster shell and baked bread with a steely minerality to the palate that focuses on citrus; stone fruits give depth and toasted notes provide a lingering embellishment to finish.

The best sparkling release from Levantine hill to date.
