Review Detail
2015 Sidewood Isabella Rose
Wine Rating
94
The wine has seen 5 years on lees and is a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay
A nose of wild strawberry with brioche and biscuit tones with an aromatic appeal the defies the price point. The leesy, autolysis characters give a toasted almond backdrop to the wine which is carried by finely textured acidity and defined red cherry and strawberry fruit. The finish is long with flint and toasted notes to citrus and red fruits.
