2006 Seppelt Original Sparkling Shiraz
Wine Rating
90
Ruby red in colour, the nose has cherry and plum in a more medicinal than ripe fruit manner.
The bead evolves nicely from the bottom of the glass, there is earthy plum fruit, fine tannins and a briny developed finish.
As a sparkling Shiraz this is one of the more intriguing due to the lack of over the top sweetness seen in too many wines of this variety.
