Purple to red colour in the glass, the nose shows rich raspberry, but is restrained by earthy undertones. The palate is well proportioned with plum, earth and cedar working effortlessly with the fine tannins in the mid to back palate. The finish is the hallmark of this wine, it is rich, but not cloying and lingers with dark chocolate and plum. An excellent example of the variety.
