A nose of plum and beetroot that takes on a touch of coffee grinds and carob. Fruit is expansive and supple on the palate, but kept in measure nicely by earthen tannins and nicely layered acidity. The interplay between more savoury beetroot and primary blackf ruits provides plenty of enjoyment on the mid palate, with both leaving their mark in equal measure to finish.
