Review Detail
2013 Seppeltsfield Tempranillo
(Updated: February 15, 2015)
Wine Rating
91
Tempranillo is another Mediterranean variety that is finding it’s place within the Barossa, this wine was sourced from Greenock and holds true to the savoury textural a dark fruited characters expected from the variety.
A nose of red cherry with undertones of charred oak and fresh earth. There is a palate of fresh and dried cherry fruits, the tannins are textural and leathery with sage spice melding well with dark fruits to finish.
