Review Detail
2015 Allegiance Wines The Fighter Tempranillo
Wine Rating
89
Sourced from McLaren Vale, the wine gives a youthful red hue in the glass with a nose that is laden with dark cherry and savoury raspberry fruit.
The palate has good definition of earthen raspberry that’s amply supported by dusty oak and rounded tannins that have a touch of dark chocolate to them. The finish is mouth coating and generous due in part to the wines 15% alcohol, but at this point in it’s life it carries it well.
