Review Detail
2015 Willunga 100 Tempranillo
Wine Rating
92
The more Tempranillo that I try from McLaren Vale the more it seems the variety is well suited to the region, the nose is inviting with cherry cola, sweeter spice and touch of black pepper. The palate is bristling with dark cherry fruit that builds a subtle earthen aspect that is a constant on the long, cherry laden finish.
This is drinking well now, but will continue to evolve.
