A medium red, confected red cherry sweetness and some background notes of tomato and earth on the nose. Oak has impact on the mid palate with the wine loosing some of its varietal appeal but enjoying spicy sweetness to broad red berry fruits. The finish has good length and shrouded in a sheath of gentle oak.
