Sourced from the Riverbank vineyard in the Hunter Galley the wine speaks of the variety in terms of the earthen black cherry that dominates the nose; with the impact of new oak coming in the way of understated spice.

The palate has wonderful structure with flowing acidity that is textural but integrated, working with fine grained tannins that give bitter dark chocolate to cherry and plum fruit. Pomegranate meets dark berries and a lift of spice to finish.

Drinking well now and for many years to come.
