Tempranillo

2008 Peter Lehmann Tempranillo
Wine Rating
93
Red to brown in colour, the nose displays aromatic strawberry and charred cherry characters. The tannins are velvety smooth with balanced acid and well integrated oak on the medium weighted palate. The palate itself has ripe vibrant fruit of raspberry and cherry, the tannins are fine and show toasted oak influences. The wine has excellent length and represents a very good value wine at $18.
