Review Detail
2007 by Farr Viognier
Wine Rating
88
A golden yellow in colour, the nose gives lanolin, the faintest hint of apricot and straw.
The palate is creamy yet spicy with apricot and lemon curd wrapped in a sheath of vanillin oak.
The wine has texturally drying tannin to finish as the voluptuous frame is starting to diminish with time.
An interesting example of the variety with a few years under it’s belt, best consumed over the shorter term.
