Review Detail
2014 Tellurian Heathcote Viognier
(Updated: May 18, 2016)
Wine Rating
94
There is plenty of good Viognier coming out of Heathcote, with the variety forming an affinity with the region. The nose is floral and pretty with understated apricot skins. The palate has excellent balance and a fine structure with bright acidity benefiting from fuller apricot with an attractive almost smokey and spicy edge. There is plenty of drive to finish with concentrated yet drying fruit.
