Review Detail
2019 Bobar Viognier
Wine Rating
90
A nose of chalk, underripe stone fruits with lemon zest and nutty oxidative aromas that lead to a palate that is all about its briny, oyster shell flavours and a slippery texture that is joined by pink grapefruit and driving citrus. The finish is long and linear. Good luck finding another Australian Viognier like this, it certainly pushes the boundaries.
