Review Detail
2020 Quartz Hill Viognier
Wine Rating
90
A light yellow in the glass with floral aromatics of fresh apricot on the nose; the palate shows an elegant and restrained wine that is light to medium bodied and built around a core of lemony acidity with understated stone fruits that have a faint creaminess to them, weaving in and out of the latticework of acidity. The structure and acidity has the wine setup for the long term, and over time the stone fruits will make more of a mark.
